Bridget J. (Thompson) Barto

Bridget J. Thompson Barto, 72, of Schuylkill Haven passed away Monday evening surrounded by her loving family at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest.

Born October 29, 1943, in Tallahasse, FL; she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Bridgetta Foley Thompson.

Bridget was a LPN and dedicated her career taking care of special needs children and a 1961 graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her partner, Paul Grabish and a brother Cecil Thompson Jr.

She is survived by her son Michael husband of Markata Barto; three daughters, Bridget Barto fiancée of William Morgan, Dana wife of Russell Sabaday, Kaitlyn Thompson; two grandchildren, Shawn Patrick Barto and Caleb Sabaday, two brothers, Michael and Daniel Thompson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday June 27 at 11 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E Hancock St, Saint Clair, Father Christopher Zelonis, Off. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Monday morning from 9AM until 11AM at the church. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery Chapel. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral 515 West Market Street Pottsville has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.
