Eleanor Lorraine (Clauser) Biltheiser

Eleanor “Ellie” Lorraine (Clauser) Biltheiser, 86, of Pottsville, passed away Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Pottsville, July 29, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Ruth F. Fuller Clauser.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pottsville.

Eleanor enjoyed Bowling in her younger years and was an active member of the Yorkville Hose Co., Pottsville. She was well loved and very fond of her nieces, nephews, god daughters, and she was a mother to many.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Bartholomew Biltheiser, brothers, William W. and Robert L. Clauser; and sister, Dr. Dorothy “Dottie” Clauser Moyer.

She is survived by brother, George C. Clauser husband of Elizabeth Clauser, Shamokin Dam; sister, Helen Clauser Rudy wife of Holland R. Rudy, Middletown, NJ; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11a.m. at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville, Pastor James R. Fidler, Off. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9a.m. till the time of the service. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
