Joan F. (Felsburg) Andrews

Joan Felsburg Andrews, 86, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Schuylkill East Norwegian.

Born in Pottsville on September 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Arthur “Scoop” and Margaret “Peg” Lesher Felsburg.

Joan was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. She volunteered for over 40 years in church activities, enjoyed country line dancing, and was a fan of NASCAR driver, Jimmy Johnson. She also enjoyed her favorite TV shows, Monk, Andy Griffiths, Dancing with the Stars, and The Middle.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Sue Andrews, 1958.

She was married to the love of her life for 64 years, husband Donald W. Andrews of Pottsville.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, Donald W. Andrews, Jr. husband of Donna, Pottsville; daughter, Wendy Kline, Bethlehem; son in law, Kenneth Kline, Jr.; grandchildren, Alison Piripavel, Adam Kline, Jill Kline, and Lindsay Andrews; great grandchildren, Madison, Thomas, Nathan, and Londyn; a sister Lois Walsh.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00am on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W Arch St, Pottsville, PA. The Rev. Harold Hand, officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday morning at Trinity Lutheran Church from 9:00am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
