Judith A. “Judy” Regnier, 65, of St. Clair, ended her courageous battle with Creutzfeldt - Jakobs Disease (CJD) Saturday afternoon at York Terrace Golden Living Center, Pottsville, with her loving and supportive family at her side.

Born January 1, 1951 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Evelyn (Dunn) Kull.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Sam Kull.

She was a 1968 Graduate of Pottsville Area High School and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

Over the years, Judy enjoyed volunteering her time to community oriented activities.  She was a volunteer for Schuylkill Outreach Drug and Alcohol Counseling and was active during Red Ribbon Week.  She was a member of the Pottsville Mother’s Football Boosters Association from 1989 to 1993.

She enjoyed getting together with her sisters and niece, Beth, to play cards and reminisce about the good old days on North Second Street.  She found great pride in her two sons and their children.  When she wasn’t spending time with her family, she found peace watching movies and classic TV shows with her cats.

She is survived by sons, Kevin M. Regnier and Catrina Bullman, Pottsville; Brian C. and wife Angela (Mestishen) Regnier, Cumbola; sisters, Barbara Conage and husband Steve, Schuylkill Haven; and Lori Garman and husband Eric, Fleetwood.  She is also survived by six grandsons, Mark V. Regnier, Cumbola; Kevin M. Regnier, Jr.; Tyler A. Regnier; and Daniel M. Regnier, all of Schuylkill; Brock A. Regnier and Jacob A. Regnier, both of Cumbola; and one granddaughter, Alexa Jospehine Regnier, Cumbola.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Judy’s life will be held Saturday, April 2 at 10:30AM at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9:30 until the time of service.  Interment will be held on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.   The family prefers donations be made in honor of Judy’s battle with CJD to The CJD Foundation 341 West 38th Street, Suite 501 New York NY 10018.
