Laura Mae Farr, 74, formerly of Schuylkill Haven died Thursday at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center, Harrisburg.
Born November 29, 1940 in Pottsville she was the daughter of the late Leo and Laura Mae (Mason) Hoy.
She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven and a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and the B.P.O.E.
She was employed by the former Ryder Shoe Company and the former Walk-In Shoe Company both of Schuylkill Haven.
She is the last member of her immediate family.
Laura is survived by two daughters Regina M. Farr-Killian and her husband Barry, Schuylkill Haven; and Joan E. Stump and her husband Eric, St. Cloud FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren Heather Lauck, Schuylkill Haven; Rachael Lauck, St. Clair; Lauren Sorokach, Minersville and Joshua Stump, Orlando FL; and 3 great grandchildren Mackenzie Wessner, St. Clair; Emily Sorokach, Minersville and Tanner Cillo, Schuylkill Haven.
Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville has been entrusted with arrangements.
