Patricia "Patty" D. (Derbes) Ebling

Patricia D. “Patty” (Derbes) Ebling, 54, Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born August 6, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of David G. and Greta (Williams) Derbes, Pottsville.

Patty was a graduate of Penn State University-main campus and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville where she was active as a Sunday School Teacher.  She was employed as a District Manager for Mondelez International.  

Patty was active in the PAHS Marching Band and Band front were she was the majorette advisor.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Andrew “Ande” W. Ebling, Pottsville; her children Collin William and Kaley Marie Ebling, both of Pottsville; brothers David G. Derbes, Jr. and William G. Derbes, both of Pottsville.  She is also survived by her in laws Rev. Byard J. and Nancy H. Ebling, Pottsville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held 7PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville Rev. Harold Hand, Off.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Friday from 4PM to the time of service.  Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market St. Pottsville has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
