Reba Lois (Moyer) Letcavage

Reba Lois (Moyer) Letcavage, 83, died Friday morning at her home in Auburn. 

Born June 16, 1931 in Cressona, she was the daughter of the late Myron and Mamie Frey Moyer.

She was a graduate of the former Cressona High School and a member of Schuylkill Christian Church, Deer Lake.  She worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Meck’s Garment Factory. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Francis H. Letcavage (2012); sister Vivian Ritter; brothers Gail Moyer, Burnell Moyer, Randall Moyer and Delbert Moyer.

Reba is survived by four sons Stephen Letcavage, Deer Lake; Leon Letcavage, New Cumberland; Neil Letcavage, Souderton; and Alan Letcavage, Shillington; and a daughter Coleen Hinkel, Auburn; brothers Norbert Moyer, Friedensburg; Dean Moyer, Myerstown; Charles Moyer, Pine Grove; and Ronald Moyer Pine Grove; and sisters Ardith Sholley, Lebanon; and Fay Zimmerman, Annville-Cleona.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10 AM Saturday February 21, 2015 at Schuylkill Christian Church 780 South Rte. 183 Schuylkill Haven PA 17972.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9Am until the time of service.  Entombment will be in the Mausoleum on the grounds of St. Ambrose RC Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.  In lieu of flowers and according to Reba’s wishes the family would prefer contributions be made to Schuylkill Christian Church c/o 134 Lake Front Drive Deer Lake PA 17961.  Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville PA 17901 has been entrusted with arrangements.  Please visit www.schlitzerallenpugh.com to leave a condolence for the Letcavage family.
