Veronica Ferenchick

Veronica Ferenchick, 87, of Minersville, died Tuesday morning at The Gardens at York Terrace, Pottsville. 

Born May 11, 1929, in Coal Castle, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Ratz) Ferenchick.

She was a graduate of the former Cass Township High School; a member of the former St. Kieran’s RC Church, Heckcherville; and a current member of St. Michael the Archangel RC Church, Minersville.  She retired from the former Pottsville Hospital where she was employed as a secretary in the Dietary Office.

Veronica was the last member of her immediate family.  She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 o’clock Friday at St. Michael the Archangel RC Church, Minersville, Rev. Christopher Zelonis, Off.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family on the grounds of St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Minersville.  The family would prefer donations be made to The Nativity Preservation Support Foundation 1 Lawton’s Hill Pottsville PA 17901.
