Alice L. (Wile) Doyne, 91, of Pottsville died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville.

Born in Port Carbon on October 31, 1922, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Beatrice A. (Chattin) Wile.

She was a member of Bethany Christian Fellowship Church. Alice enjoyed being involved in her church activities and enjoyed bowling.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband William F. Doyne and brother, Alvin Wile.

Alice is survived by her two sons, William G. Doyne and wife Linda, Fayetteville, GA, Daniel J Doyne and wife Sharon, Great Mills, MD; grandchildren, Sean and Brian Doyne; great grandchildren, Jacklyn, Eve, and Sara Doyne; brothers, George, Albert, and Austin Doyne, niece and nephew, Alvin and Cindy Wile.

A graveside services and internment will be held Saturday May 10, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Dennis Snyder officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., Saturday May 10, 2014 at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6th & W. Market Sts., Pottsville.
