Anna E. Tice, 98, of Pottsville, died Saturday at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Lebanon on December 22, 1915, she was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Kolla Arnt. She was a member of the former St. Francis de Sales Church, Mount Carbon. She was married to the late Earl C. Tice, who died in 1974.
Anna was preceded in death by: a grandson, Robert Baylor; a great granddaughter Tanya Guldin; sisters, Catherine Swoyer, Margaret Matthew, Mary Whitman, Elizabeth Matthews; brothers George Arnt, Jr, Matthias Arnt, Joseph Arnt, Anthony Arnt, Frank Arnt and Anthony Arnt.
Surviving Anna are: two daughters Jacqueline Baylor, Reading, Ernestine Buck, Schuylkill Haven, three sons, Earl, George and John Tice, all of Pottsville; sisters, Theresa Kale, Elsie Rasmussen, Josephine Ditzler, Frances Boyer and Barbara Weatherholtz, all of Lebanon; brothers, Frank Arnt and Pete Arnt, both of Lebanon; 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the Our Lady of Calvary Chapel, with Deacon Jack Quirk offiating. Family and friends may call at the chapel from 9 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6 th & W. Market St., Pottsville is entrusted with the arrangements.
