Audrey Artz, 85, a lifelong resident of Pottsville, passed away on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at the Geisinger - St Luke's Hospital in Orwigsburg.

Audrey was born in Washington DC on November 29, 1938, a daughter of the late Johnathan and Norma (Wright) Coulson.  She was a graduate of the Pottsville high school, and in her younger years worked as a waitress at the former Necho Allen Hotel in Pottsville.

She last worked as a dietitian and was retired from the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pottsville.  Audrey adored animals and was a frequent volunteer for the Humane Society.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Artz; a son, Mark Neiswender, and a brother, Jerry Coulson

Surviving are her sons, Brian Neiswender of St. Clair, and Curtis Artz and his wife Chris of Pottsville.  4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing which  will be held on Thursday evening from 6-7 PM at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street, Pottsville.

In lieu of flowers, Audrey's family asks that memorial donation in her memory be made to your local SPCA.
