Bruce N. Heffner, 69, Pottsville died Thursday at York Terrace Golden Living Center, Pottsville.

Born November 13, 1945 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Bruce R. and Rose Marie (Schauers) Heffner.

He attended Pottsville Area High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.  He proudly served his country during in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a life member of the Pottsville VFW and the Vietnam Veteran's, Schoentown.

He was employed as a deliveryman for the former 7UP Bottling Co., Pottsville.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Robert Heffner.

He is survived by brothers Barry Heffner and his wife Jeanine, Schuylkill Haven; and Leo Heffner and his wife Cheryl, Boulder City, NV.  He is also survived by a niece and two nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday February 3 ^rd at 11AM at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville PA, Vicar Chris Rothharpt, Off.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Tuesday morning from 9AM until time of service.  Interment with military honors will be held at Cressona Cemetery.  Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  Please visit www .schlitzerallenpugh.co m to leave a condolence for the family.
