Carol James, 79, a resident of Pottsville, passed away on August 29th, 2024.

Carol was born in Pottsville, a daughter of the late William and Frances (Hess) James.  She was a graduate of the Pottsville High School, then moved to the Harrisburg area where she worked as a computer system analyst for the Pennsylvania department of Welfare for 30 years.  Carol enjoyed shopping, crafts and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Jame, Kitty James and Bonnie James.

Surviving are her children, William Baskeyfield and his wife Janet of Enola and Marci Leigh Baskeyfield of Harrisburg and her niece and, Kathy Doran, of Pottsville.

Three grandchildren, Brandon Lee and his fiancee Morgan; Richard Damien and Brittany Marie Primrose along with a great grandson, Bennett Lee; A sister, Joanne Eckert and nieces and nephews also survive.
