Carol A. Roberts, 84, formerly of Pottsville, died Sunday at The Middletown Home, Middletown.

Born March 5, 1933, in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Lotus Knowlton Roberts.

She worked as an educator for over 40 years both at the Central Dauphin School District, Harrisburg and Shippensburg University.  She was a member of Keyzner Poets, PA Poet Society, and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies.

She is survived by cousins MaryAnn Hollenbush and Carl J. Hollenbush, Pottsville.

Funeral Services will be held 11AM Thursday at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market St. Pottsville.  Interment will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.  There will not be any calling hours prior to the service.  Please visit schlitzerallenpugh.com to leave a condolence for Carol's family.
