Daniel E. Brennan, 92, Pottsville, died Monday at Orwigsburg Center- Genesis Eldercare, Orwigsburg.

Born December 25, 1923, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late William J. and Annie (Neidlinger) Brennan.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pottsville and the Church's Men's Club.  He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 216, Pottsville; the Historical Society and the American Legion.  He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Jean M. (Lewis) Brennan in 1966; his second wife Josephine M. (Meyer) Brennan; and a son William Brennan.  He was the last member of his immediate family.

He is survived by a son Gary Brennan, Pottsville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 27 at 11AM, Rev. John Wallace, Off. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until the time of service. There will not be any calling hours Monday evening. Private Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Mt. Peace Cemetery, Minersville. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville has been entrusted with arrangements.
