David F. Doyne, 70, of Pottsville died Friday at Schuylkill Medical Center- East Jackson.

Born in Pottsville on September 25, 1943, he was the son of the late David Doyne.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, David Doyne.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Mercuri Donye; son, Danny Doyne; daughter, Annette Kline; five grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew.

Services will be held on Saturday at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 305 S. Centre St, Pottsville at 1 p.m. with Pastor Susan Moore officiating.
