Dennis Dohanish, 70, of New Philadelphia died Thursday at SUN Home Health & Hospice after an extended illness.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, May 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Sedar) Dohanish of Frackville.

Dennis was a US Marine Corp. veteran. He was a member of the Moose, NRA, and an active fisherman and hunter. He was also a member of the Tea Party. He lived in Middlesex, NJ for 35 years and Margate, FL for 5 years. He later moved to New Philadelphia, PA in 1992.

He worked at Art Color Printing Co. IN Dunellen, NJ for six years. Prior to working at Art Color Printing CO., he worked at Inmont Corporation in Middlesex, NJ for fifteen years.

He is survived by daughter, Kelly Gohs and her husband Richard, McMinnville, TN; two grandchildren, Austin and Adisen; brothers, Ronald Dohanish and his wife Linda, Little River, SC and Michael Dohanish and his wife Alice, Murrells Inlet, SC; sister, Loretta Luongo and her husband Michael, Howell, NJ; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are private and have been entrusted with Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 6 ^th and West Market Sts., Pottsville, PA 17901.
