Eugenia "Jenny" Tucci Bertucci, 98, of Pottsville, passed away on Thursday at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill-East.

Born in Pottsville, May 20, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances Stagliano Tucci.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and a lifelong member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Jenny graduated high school.

She worked as a salesclerk & bookkeeper at F.W. Woolworth. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Jenny was a member of the Sons of Italy Club, Pottsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Angela Childs and Rose M. Garbetti; and a brother, PFC Frank Tucci. Jenny was the last member of her immediate family.

Jenny is survived by two nieces, Roseanne "Rosie," wife of Carl Raring, Norwegian Woods, Pottsville; Marie J., wife of James Cairns, Pottsville; a great nephew, Attny. Nicholas J., husband of Lisa Raring, their daughter Hannah Sloan Raring, Enfield, Conn.; two great nieces, Angela Cairns Choate wife of Joshua, Camp Hill, PA, and Alexandra "Allie" Raring, Waynesboro, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with Monsignor Edward J. O'Connor officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pottsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Jenny's name be sent to Holy Family Adult Day Care, 900 W. Market St., Orwigsburg, PA 17961 or St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
