Francis J. "Chief" Mozloom, Sr., 94, Pottsville, joined his beloved wife, Lola, in eternal rest Wednesday afternoon surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 4, 1922, in Port Carbon, he was the son of the late John and Teresa Ferris Mozloom.

Francis was a member of St. Clair of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair.  He was retired from Nyleve, Emmaus where he worked as a cement finisher.  He was also a member of the Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons Union Local 592.  He enjoyed walking, drinking coffee with his buddy Stanley Adams, watching boxing, WWE wrestling, game shows, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Lola E. (Evans) Mozloom (2002); sisters Gloria DeMarkis and Ann Joseph; and a brother Vincent Mozloom.

He is survived by a daughter Mary Davis wife of Michael, Hellertown; a son Francis J. Mozloom, Jr. fiancée of Lisa Cameli, Pottsville; grandchildren Cyndie Vasko, Weissport; Steven Mozloom and Anthony Ryan Mozloom, both of Espy; and a great granddaughter Liliana Getz, Weissport.  He is also survived by brothers Thomas Mozloom, St. Clair; John Mozloom, Jr., Hamilton, NJ; sisters Norma Mozloom, St. Clair; Marie Barber, Sewell, NJ; and Janet Massoud, Utica, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Chief will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday at St. Clare of Assisi RC Church, St. Clair, Msgr. William Glosser, Off.  Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects Tuesday evening from 6 to 8PM and Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville.
