Francis G. "Zuk" Tray, 83, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Pottsville, on March 21, 1931, he was a son of the late, Francis A. and Lillian (Webb) Tray.

Francis was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea War from 1951-1955. He then joined the U.S. Army Reserves and served with the 365 ^th Engineer Battalion, Schuylkill Haven and Reading, PA, where he retired from in 1991 after 34 years of service to his country.

Francis was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pottsville and a hardworking man who was always willing to help. After retiring from the military, he currently worked at Empire (Schoeneman's) Beauty Supply for over 20 years.

Francis was a life member of Good Will Fire Co. #4 where he served as a fire policeman and served as their Grand Marshall at the 2014 Schuylkill County Fireman's Convention Parade. He was also a member of the Schuylkill County Fire Police Association. He enjoyed playing cards at  the fire house.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; 2 brothers, Jack and Bill, 4 sisters, Pat, Kay, Sis and Bernie.

Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, AnnaMae (Frantz) Tray, 2 loving daughters, Beverly McClintock and fiancé, Scott Dove, Seltzer, Michelle "Mikki" Heim, and husband, George Stefnic, Pottsville, a loving son, Dale C., Lakeland, FL,  6 grandchildren, Nikki Butz, Bobbi McClintock, Josh, J.T., Jori, Kira, 8 great grandchildren, a sister, Jacqueline Schupp, Reading, PA, several nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 28,2014 at 6:00PM at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6 ^th & W. Market Streets, Pottsville, with Reverend James R. Fidler, of Trinity U.C.C. officiating.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 4:00PM to the time of the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Schuylkill Memorial Park with Full Military Honors provided by the U.S. Army.
