Frank J. "Brother" Ryan, 64, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday morning, June 23, 2016, at his home.

Born in Pottsville on May 23, 1952, he was a son of the late Henry and Dorothy (Davenport) Ryan.  He was a 1971 graduate of Pottsville High School.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pottsville.

Prior to retiring, Frank was employed by Honeywell as a machine operator. He enjoyed such leisure activities as golfing and baking. Frank also loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Ryan and Henry "Junior" Ryan; his sisters, Jane Dinger, Dorothy Poole and Theresa Peel.

Frank is survived by his son, Jason Ryan, husband of Wendy, Silt, CO; daughter Jaime Graham, wife of Michael, New Ringgold; grandson, Thomas Ryan Graham; sister Margaret Hood, Pottsville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday evening at 7:00 PM at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
