Obituary
Fred F. Fessler, 68, of Pottsville, died Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville.
Born July 16, 1945 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Edward Charles and Anna (Stickler) Fessler.
Fred retired in 2001 from F&D Coal Sales, Hazleton where he had worked as a truck driver. He was also a US Navy Veteran having served during Peacetime.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Edward.
He is survived by sons Richard and Gilbert, both of Pottsville; a daughter, Marian Pittman, Blandon; a sister Jane Kopina, Pottsville; grandchildren Heather and Richard Fessler, Hazleton and Kaitlyn and Christopher Pittman, Blandon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews including David & Sharon Fessler, Pottsville and Lynn Chaplick, Palo Alto.
Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
