Gerald P. Kowalsky, 77, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday surrounded by his loving family.

Born June 21, 1939, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Melusky) Kowalsky.

He was a life member of the Greenwood Hill Fire Co and Yorkville Fire Co.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Campion) Kowalsky.

He is survived by a son, Thomas Kowalsky, West Chester; three daughters, Lisa Kowalsky, Freidensburg; Diane Maley, Pottsville; and Karen Kowalsky McDaniel, Mechanicsburg; nine grandchildren MaryKate, Bridget, Billy, Christopher, Harry, James, Shelby, Michael, and Harper; four great grandchildren, Isabelle, Dakota, Gage, and Benjamin.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Gerald will be held at noon on Saturday at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Family and friends may call from 11:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Calvary, Hillside.
