Gerald L. Sholly, Jr, 49, of Tremont, passed away at home on September 11, 2024.

Born on January 13, 1975, in Lebanon, he was the son of Gerald L. Sholly, Sr. and Patricia A. (Ortman) Sholly, of Richland, PA.

Gerald worked as a welder for Peirce Welding in Bethel, PA. He loved doing woodworking, spending time hunting and 4 wheeling.  He was also a good mechanic and would always help a friend. He was a loving father and had many friends.  He volunteered over the years for numerous volunteer fire departments, Bethel and Mt. Aetna Fire Department and Goodwill Fire Department in Myerstown.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lori Sholly.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his loving daughter, Rachyl Sholly (fiancé Ben Schwarz), two sisters, Debbra Althouse (husband Gary Sr.) and Kristine Glant (husband Elson), several nieces and nephews.

Private cremation services will be held from Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Pottsville.
