Obituary

James J. Marlow, 76, formerly of Gordon, of Camp Hill, passed away on October 26, at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill.

Born on June 19, 1946, in Lavelle, PA, he was the son of the late Alvin and Marion (Shuey) Marlow.

Jim served in the US ARMY during the Vietnam War as a military policeman. He was an amazing athlete and softball pitcher who led his team to States.

Jim worked as a prison guard in Coal Township.  He then worked construction and at the Pennsylvania Forest Products, Great Northern Forest Products, Gould Pump and enjoyed driving bus in his retirement.

He was a hardworking father of 3 and a former volunteer fire fighter.  He was a good friend to all.  He was a Poppy to his grandchildren, who were the apples of his eye.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Ann Dyszel and grandson, Kohl Marlow

Surviving are his three loving children; Michelle Meiser, Camp Hill, PA, Stephanie Marlow, Mt. Carmel and Jason Marlow, Sunbury, grandchildren, Blayke Marlow, Brandt Walter, Brynn Marlow, Berlyn Marlow, Braysen Leslie, Camryn Marlow, Isabella Marlow, Edward Marlow, Laney Wolkoski, and a sister, Marsha Harding, Fountain Springs.

Private interment services will be conducted in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at the convenience of the family.
