James (Jim) B. Stranix, 73, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away peacefully on June 26th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Shenandoah on February 8, 1951, Jim was the son of the late James and Martha (Fellows) Stranix.

Jim graduated from Hershey High School in 1969 and earned his degree in industrial arts from California University of Pennsylvania in 1973. He dedicated 33 years to teaching industrial arts in the Tamaqua School District and also served as a high school wrestling coach. He had a passion for repairing antique furniture and restoring his 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. Jim will be remembered for his wit and sarcasm, as well as his deep love for Jesus.

Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lyndell 'Lyn' (Supplee) Stranix; their children, Todd Stranix and his wife Jennifer of Lake Wynonah, Joshua Stranix at home, and Abbey, wife of Keith Drummer of Tampa, Florida.
