Jerry R. Duncan, 77, of Pottsville, died Monday March 24, 2014 at his residence.

Born May 9, 1936 in Midway KY, he was the son of the late Elgin and Helen (Hash) Duncan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley J. (Felker) Duncan; a son Gerald Duncan; a daughter-in-law Diane (Freeze) Duncan; and brothers and sisters.

He was retired from Novinger's Inc., Middletown where he worked as a plasterer.

Jerry served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Humane Fire Company, Pottsville; a member of the Plasterer's Union; and a member of the Walter Griffiths AMVETS Post 180.

He is survived by four sons; James "Satch" husband of Brenda, Forrestville; Randy husband of Jean, Seltzer; Brian husband of Renee, Pottsville; and Craig husband of Shelly, Seltzer; one daughter, Cindy Duncan, Pottsville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services and Interment will be held Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 11:45 AM at Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. Deacon John Setlock will be officiating. There will not be any calling hours prior to interment.
