Jonathan G. "Jerry" Coulson, 71, of Pottsville, died Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.
Born in Washington D.C., July 17, 1942, he was a son of Norma Coulson and the late Jonathan Coulson.
Prior to retirement, he worked for Pottsville Area School District as a school bus driver for 15 years.
Jonathan was a former member of First Baptist Church, Pottsville. He was a lifelong member of West End Hose Company No. 7.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Heather Lee Coulson; and nephew, Mark J. Neiswender.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Audrey Artz, Pottsville; an uncle, John E. Wright, Tarpons Springs, Fl.; nephews, Brian and his wife, Debra Neiswender, New Philadelphia, and Curtis and his wife, Chris Artz, Pottsville; nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Sixth and West Market streets, Pottsville, followed by a service at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
