Joseph W. Kopinetz, 67, of Pottsville, died Friday morning at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, with his family by his side.

Born Sept. 23, 1947, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Charles and Frances L. Seruski Kopinetz.

He was last employed by Wal-Mart, where he worked in the maintenance department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Alex and Sean; and a brother, Charles Kopinetz.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 28 years, Josephine M. Yondura, Pottsville; sons, Michael Kopinetz, Port Carbon, Korey Little, Reading, and Kevin Little, Reading; daughters, Lisa Kopinetz, Maryland, and Tamie Boyer, Saint Clair; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Elaine Kopinetz, Reading, and Beverly Kopinetz, Reading; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would prefer memorial donations be made to The Gift of Life, 401 N. Third St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
