Julia Brinsfield, 80, Pottsville, passed away peacefully Thursday at the home of her daughter surrounded by her family.

Born June 27, 1937 in Frackville, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Sybulski Harhigh.

She retired after 40 years of working as a nurse's aide at the former Pottsville Hospital.

Julia was loved by all who knew her and those whose days she brightened in her career and everyday life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by ten siblings.

She is survived by sons Charles and Kenneth Rhine, both of Pottsville; daughters, Karen Reber wife of David, Pottsville; Lori Smith wife of John, Christiana PA; and Barbara Dallatore wife of Mark, Orwigsburg.  She is also survived by grandchildren Kirsten March, Kelli Stewart, Brandon Reber, Kacie Boyer, Tyler Rhine, and Marybeth Reber; great grandchildren Carsyn, Cayleigh, Dawson, Gage, Luther John, and Cale; and a niece Patricia Baldwin wife of William.
