Linda M. Surovcik, 78, Orwigsburg, Formerly of Pottsville, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 8 at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia.

Born May 1, 1944 in Riverside CA, she was the daughter of the late James and Ester (Wilt) DeSalle.

She retired from the former Higgins Real Estate Agency where she had worked as a real estate agent.  She was of the Catholic faith and had attended St. Mary's RC Church, Hamburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Rudolph Surovcik (May 19, 2009).

Linda enjoyed gardening but especially loved her grandchildren.  She loved watching them grow and following them through their life's journey.

Mimi, as she was affectionately called, will be forever missed by her children and grandchildren.  She is survived by sons Greg husband of Dianne, Hellertown and Kevin husband of Janet, Malvern; daughter Lisa Walkush wife of Mark, North Wales; grandchildren Gabriella, Annabella, Derek, Alexander, Ethan, Adam, and Julia; and a brother James DeSalle, Camp Hill.

A service of remembrance will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 18 at Our Lady of Calvary Chapel located on the grounds of Calvary Cemetery, Hillside.  Deacon Jack Quirk will be Officiating.  There will not be any calling hours prior to the service.
