Margaret A. "Peggy" Anthony, 84, Pottsville, died Saturday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born May 2, 1932 in York Farm, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Jennie (Mengle) Schoffstall.

Peggy was a graduate of Minersville High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville and was active in the Church's Tuesday crafting class.  She worked as a sales person at the former Artlin's Shoe Store which was located in the Cressona Mall.  She also worked for a period of time at Boscov's Department Store in their shoe department.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Anthony, Sr. (2004); a daughter Angela (1987); grandson Paul Anthony III (2004); and a brother Robert Schoffstall.

Peggy is survived by a son Paul Anthony, Jr., Cape Coral FL; a daughter Judith Horn, Allentown PA; brothers, Eugene Schoffstall, Easley SC; and Ernie Schoffstall, Portland OR.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren,  Erik Anthony, Hamburg; Nicholas Anthony, Cape Coral FL; A.J. "Alexander John" Anthony, Cape Coral FL; Cassandra Horn, Cape May Court House NJ; Kyle Horn, Quincy MA; and Chad Horn, Allentown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held noon Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until Noon at the church.  Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Hillside.
