Mildred G. Hornung, 98, formerly of Pottsville, died Thursday morning at Westminster Village, Allentown.

Born in Blackwood March 25, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen Rose Brilla Wasolowski.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband the late Charles J. Hornung (2011); brothers Frank Minder and Joseph Minder and a sister Bertha Lasky.

Mildred is survived by a daughter Geraldine Panick wife of Andrew, Hellertown; granddaughters Theresa Williams and Christine Schoenberger; grandsons Glenn Panick and Michael Panick, Sr.  She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; Corrine, Brian, Casey, Michael, Amanda, Miranda, Jessie, and Nicholas; and 4 great- greatgrandchildren Yvonne, Teague, Anthony and Emmitt.
