Nicholas "Nick" D. Weiss, 40, of Cressona, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 15, at his home.

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of David J. Weiss, Schuylkill Haven, and Cynthia L. (Kull) Nye, Pottsville. He attended Schuylkill Haven High School and North and South Vo- Tech for Auto Mechanics.

He had a love for music and was a great drummer.  Nick loved spending time with his kids.

Nick worked for Fisher Tree Service and worked as an independent contract doing landscaping, home repair and remodeling.

Nick was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Arthur Kull; paternal grandparents, Ronald J. and Vivian J. Weiss and brother, Vincent Weiss

Surviving is his dad, David Weiss and his fiancé, Rudi Moyer, Schuylkill Haven, his mother, Cynthia L. (Kull) Nye, Son, Terren Weiss, Daughter, Penny Weiss, Stepdaughter, Aliya Dean, Maternal Grandmother, Sandra Kull, stepsister Rebecca Nye, Aunt, Vivian Connor, Sherry Mengle and her husband, Tim, Pam Kiessling, Uncle, John Kupchock, and several cousins.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Nick's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 25th at First United Methodist Church, 330 W. Market Street, Pottsville, with Pastor John Wallace officiating.

Friends and family are invited to call from 10:00AM till the time of the service.

Services have been entrusted to Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Pottsville.
