Richard J. Brentari, 77, of Pottsville, passed away on October 12, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was born in Pottsville, he was a son of August Charles and Emma (Sborz) Brentari.

He served in the US Army during Vietnam War. Richard worked for Schuylkill Haven Bleach and Dye and then St. Jude Polymer, Frackville.

Richard enjoyed collecting trains and pigeon trap shooting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Butch and Eugene Brentari.

Surviving are his of wife of 55 years, Judith A. (Boomsma) Brentari, two sons, John and wife, Shelly, Richard II and companion, Amy, grandchildren, Stephanie Ann, Tiannah, Taylor, Cerena, Richard III, Grace.
