Robert Johnson, 47, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2024. Robert was born in Philadelphia, a son of the late Robert Cornish and Miranda Smith of Philadelphia.

A man who loved all things food and was an excellent cook. He enjoyed any activity that involved his family and friends. Robert was always laughing, a laugh that was contagious. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and give a listening ear. He will be missed by all those who lives he touched. Robert leaves behind and was a loving father to Lakeria, Laniyah and Lavar. To Robert his children were his biggest accomplishments, he was a proud father and took every opportunity to boast about them.

In addition to his mother, Miranda Smith, he is also survived by his brothers, Chuck Blackshear, Andre Smith, Joseph Johnson and James Smith. He also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that love him dearly. Relatives are invited to a viewing, along with the sharing memories, which will be held on Saturday, December 14th, from 10 am until 12 Noon at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street, Pottsville.
