Ronald B. Statue, 63, of Black Heath, passed away Sunday at his residence.

Born in Pottsville, November 2, 1953, son of the late Wassel and Kathryn (Weiner) Statue.

Ron was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville.

He was a graduate of Minersville High School. He retired in 2008 from Honeywell International, Marlin.

Ron enjoyed fishing and golfing, and he was also an avid Kansas City Chief and Phillies fan.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Austerberry wife of William, Black Heath; nephew, Matthew Austerberry; several cousins.

A Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church 415 N Front St, Minersville, with the Rev. Mark Fesniak officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. till time of the Requiem Divine Liturgy at the church.
