Stanley A. Lord, 84, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday at Schuylkill Medical Center- South Jackson.

Born January 12, 1932, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Lord.

Stanley proudly served his country in the US Army during in the Korean War.

In addition to his parents is was preceded in death by his wife Joan E. Derr Lord, a baby sister, brothers, Dutch, Eddie, Bill, Harold, and George.

He is survived by his son, David E. Lord fiancé of Buffy Lorah, Pottsville; daughter Diane E. Forte wife of Stephen, Pottsville; grandchildren Beth Ann, Anthony, Nicholas, and Dakota, great grandchildren Tyler, Noah, Grayson and Adalyn.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville Rev. Leo Maletz, Off.  Family and friends may call from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
