Steve Kulich, Jr., 90, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center-East.

Born in St. Clair, July 25, 1925, he was a son of the late Steve Sr. and Mary Wayda Kulich.

Steve proudly served is country during WWII in the United States Navy.

He attended St. Clair High School and was last employed by Zapata Industries, Frackville. He was an active member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville and a former member of Mary, Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville where he was a member of the Holy Name Society for a number of years.

In addition to her parents, he is preceded by his wife of 63 years, Bette L. Raygo Kulich, October 30, 2015; brother, John Kulich and sister, Mary Monsulick.

He is survived by a son, Stephen and wife, Deborah Kulich; two grandchildren, David and wife, Sarah Kulich, and Danielle Kulich; a nephew and nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at St. Patrick RC Church, Pottsville, with Monsignor Edward O'Connor officiating. Interment will follow in Queen of the Universe Cemetery with military honors, Pottsville. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
