Steven B. Reed, Sr. "Weasel", 61, of Pottsville passed away Monday morning surrounded by his family.

Born November 30, 1954, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Marlin E. Reed and Betty A. Rodrian Reed.

Steven was a member of the West End Hose Co. No. 7 and social member at Landingville Fire Co. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching his Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, William E. Stock.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan M. Stock Reed, daughter Stephanie Hoysock wife of Michael J. III, son Steven B. Reed, Jr, three grandchildren Michael J Hoysock IV, Nathan A. and Tallica J. Reed, brothers Marlin J., Harry, and Larry Reed, sisters Cindy Simpson and Linda Donnelly, mother-in-law, Charlotte Stock-Daldo, and their 4legged friend Meesha.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville with Rev. Richard Wozniak officiating.
