Thomas C. Hoffman, 52, of Pottsville, entered into eternal rest Monday morning.

Born August 21, 1962 in Pottsville, he was the son of Thomas P. Hoffman and the late Ann June (Bobinis) Hoffman.

Tom was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church.

He was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School; graduate of Penn State University where he earned his BS in Accounting; and a graduate of St. Joseph University where he earned his MBA in Financial Management.  He was both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.  He was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.  He was last employed as the accounting manager for SAPA Industries. Tom was an outdoors enthusiast and enjoyed hiking, bicycling, and cross country skiing.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister Andrea Hoffman in 1975.

He is survived by his father, Thomas P. Hoffman, Pottsville; a sister Ann Marie Hoffman, wife of Scott Suko, Dayton Maryland; a companion Susan Mistysyn, Pottsville; nephews Luke and Cade Suko; and a niece Ava Suko.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Saturday November 29, 2014 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Saturday morning 8:30 to 10:30 at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville PA 17901.   Private interment will be at Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville.
