Thomas "Tom" J. Peifley, 68, of Pottsville, passed away Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center- East Norwegian.

Born April 20, 1948, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late William G. and Anna (Pavlick) Peifley.

Tom was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School; he worked for the Carpenters Local Union for approximately 20 years. He enjoyed helping others especially with his skills in carpentry and Tom also enjoyed hunting and fishing outdoors.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother William Peifley.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Faith (Wesnoski) Peifley; daughter, Nicole Woll, wife of Greg; brother, James Peifley; sisters, Barbara Thomas, Regina Weller, Dolores Gradwell, Michelle Serio; mother in law, Ellen Wesnoski; sister in law, Lorraine Peifley; brother in law, Stephen Wesnoski; and several nieces and nephews.
