Viola M. (Rogalsky) Gaumer, 97, Pottsville died Monday morning at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville. Born in Middleport, April 8, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Vileria Rogalsky. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. She was employed as a seamstress and worked in the local garment industry. Viola took great joy in visiting with all of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christine Heffner; a granddaughter Denise Gaumer; and a brother Adam Rogalsky and a sister Anna Kruss. She is survived by sons, Frank "Ben" Heffner husband of Patricia, Schuylkill Haven; Denis Gaumer, Pottsville; and John Gaumer husband of Joan, Cumbola. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Friday March 18 at Our Lady of Calvary Chapel, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to call from 9AM to 10AM.
