Waldemar R. Eiche, 90, of Pottsville passed away peacefully at his residence Tuesday morning with his loving family by his side.

Born March 6, 1924 in Frackville, he was the son of the late Raymond and Marie Theresa (Cooper) Eiche.

He retired from Archie Malick Contracting as a painter in 1985. He served his country proudly in World War II in the US Maine Corp.

Waldemar was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

In addition to his parents, Waldemar is preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Willison) Eiche, brothers, Charles, Ramond, Perfield, and George, a sister, Anna Evans.

He is survived by his son, Renold Eiche, Pine Grove; daughter, Donna Emery, Pottsville; his companion, Ellen Wesnoski, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. Internment will take place at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street, Pottsville.
