Walter Martin "Marty" Schneck, 68, Pottsville entered into eternal rest Sunday morning at York Terrace Golden Living Center, Pottsville.

Born May 6, 1947 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Martin) Schneck.

He attended the former United Cerebral Palsy School, Pottsville and was a member of the First Baptist Church,   Pottsville.  He was last employed at the UCP Workshop.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Schneck.

He is survived by several cousins and many friends whom he considered to be his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10 AM Thursday at the First Baptist Church, 701 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, with Pastor Russell Hepler officiating.  Private interment will take place at Salem Hetzel Cemetery, Pine Grove.   Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville has been entrusted with arrangements.
