Darlene M. (Symons) Menchefsky, 67, formerly of  St. Clair, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28th, 2023, at Shenandoah Senior Living Center.

Born on December 16, 1955, in St. Clair, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Corandi) Symons.

Darlene was a dedicated individual who found purpose in helping others. For many years, she worked as a nurses aide at Rest Haven Nursing Center and provided compassionate home healthcare. Her commitment to caring for others left a lasting impact on those she served.

Darlene was a faithful member of the former St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clair, where she found solace and strength in her faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard, who passed away on December 11, 1993, and her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Menchefsky.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving son, Albert, and his wife, Amber Menchefsky, St. Clair, and her devoted daughter, Christine, and her husband, Joseph Selbi, Shenandoah. Darlene's greatest joy came from her role as a grandmother to Steven, Melissa and her husband, Kameron, Kathy, Jennifer, Christopher, and Hailey. She also adored her great-grandchildren, Isaac and Brayden. Darlene leaves behind a niece, Heather, who held a special place in her heart.

One of Darlene's greatest joys in life was spending time with her family. Her love and dedication to her family will forever be remembered and cherished by those she leaves behind.
