Heather Lewis Obituary

Our Heavenly Father called Heather Lewis peacefully home on August 16, 2021.

Heather was born in Pottsville on July 4, 1973, to Robert and Dana (Ward) Lewis. She followed her dreams and resided in Florida for the past decade.

A graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Heather earned her RN from The Reading Hospital School of Nursing and her BSN from Kutztown University. She worked in multiple medical and rehabilitative facilities providing unwavering care and compassion.

Heather enjoyed every moment of life. She loved cruising to the beach on her hot pink scooter, relaxing in the soothing sun, and spending time with her genuine friends in Florida with whom she shared life as a second family. Known as “Aunt Hebbie,” she cherished her nieces and nephews and spoiled them with her undivided attention and lighthearted fun.

Heather’s greatest gift was her ability to light up any room with her bubbly, outgoing personality. Meeting her involved squeals of delight, jumping up and down, and hugs. Heather’s hilarious impersonations and quick-witted commentary always kept people laughing. In any situation, Heather knew exactly what to say to others. Her humor, optimism, and unconditional love stemmed from her large, pure heart. She cared so deeply about everyone in her life and always put others before herself. Heather inspired others to be their best and to live through their faith in God. Those who truly knew Heather are eternally grateful for the time that they shared with her and the happy memories that they will treasure forever.

Heather was preceded in death by great-grandparents Francis and Carolyn Mager, grandparents Harold and Dorothy Lewis, Carolyn Falls, and Dale Ward.

In addition to her parents, Heather is survived by her big “sissy” Dana (Mark), her little brother BJ, her grandfather “Poppie” Ralph, her nieces Morgan, Alex, Ava, Hope, and Sophia, her nephews Ayden and Bobby, her many cousins, aunts, and uncles, and a long list of loving friends. Heather will be dearly missed by those who had the opportunity to meet someone as vibrant, as beautiful, and as loving as she truly was.

As per Heather’s wishes, private services will be held for her immediate family.
