Linda C (Peffer) Peffer
Obituary
Linda C. Peffer, 75, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born in Pottsville on October 16, 1946, she was a daughter of the late George and Ruth (Sammler) Peffer.
Linda was a 1964 graduate of Pottsville Area High School, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, since 1965. She was an employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Schuylkill County Board of Assistance since 1969. Her last position was held as a disability advocate.
She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Pottsville YWCA, Board of Directors of the Greater Winter Carnival, and a member of the former Young Women's Club of the YWCA.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Jane Peffer and Thelma Fey.
She is survived and fondly remembered by her nephew, Charles Fey, and the many friends she made throughout her life.
A Beta Sigma Phi service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market Street, Pottsville, PA 17901. A visitation will be held prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Drums.
