Nancy Marie (Ost) Mahall

Nancy Marie (Ost) Mahall, 87, Pottsville died Wednesday, March 23 at Lehigh Valley Medical Center- East.

Born August 18, 1934 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Anna (Houser) Ost.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville; the Beta Sigma Sorority; and played cards in the Bridge Club. Nancy was a social butterfly and loved helping others by volunteering her time to local charities.  She was a good listener and a master of puzzles.  She also loved to travel and loved animals.

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and went on to earn her associate’s degree and then began working as an executive secretary and office manager.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband the late Emil J. Mahall (1988) and brothers, Daniel and Clayton Ost.

Nancy is survived by her sons Kevin husband of Lisa; David; daughter Sandra wife of Troy; grandsons Ryan husband of Brittany and Rory fiancée of Kasey; great granddaughters Madalyn and Paige; and nieces and nephews.
