Rachel Kline, 93, Pottsville, entered into eternal rest Friday morning, July 30 at Lehigh Valley-Cedar Crest.
Born February 26, 1928 in Bethel, she was the daughter of the late Raphael and Simona Hernandez.
She worked at the former Goldie’s Towne Shoppe which was located in downtown Pottsville. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Pottsville where she was passionate about volunteering her time and talent to help others.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons Daniel and Michael and brothers and sisters.
Rachel leaves behind a legacy in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They include her sons Charles Hernandez, William Kline, Henry Kline, Raphael Kline, Robert Kline, and Frank Kline; daughters Phyllis Szeliga, Dolores Ribkee, and Nancy Lazowicki; brothers Frank and Mike Hernandez; and Theresa, Lena, Mary, and Pauline. She is also survived several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Rachel’s life will be held 3PM Sunday, August 15th at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville. Family and friends are respectfully invited to call from 1PM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
